WELCOME TO HONNINGTON FARM
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US...

Honnington Farm is a family-run working farm set within a 500-acre estate in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, hidden away in the heart of the Kent countryside.

Surrounded by woodland and gently rolling fields, the farm specialises in forestry and timber works, while its peaceful semi-rural setting creates a secluded sanctuary for our luxury glamping pods. Carefully positioned away from the rhythms of the working farm, the pods are tucked into the landscape, offering uninterrupted views across open countryside — a place where mornings are slow, evenings are golden, and the outside world feels wonderfully distant.

Wake to birdsong drifting through the trees, sip your morning coffee as mist lifts from the fields, and spend your evenings wrapped up beneath wide, star-filled skies. As dusk settles, light the chiminea, watch the flames flicker, and let the quiet of the countryside do the rest.

Despite the feeling of total escape, Honnington Farm remains beautifully connected. Just five minutes from the A21, a short drive to the charming towns of Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, and only 40 minutes by direct train from London, it’s the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience — a cosy countryside retreat designed for rest, reconnection, and a little bit of magic.
The location is amazing and the little touches and attention to detail is first rate

Meet the hosts
Welcome, keen glamper, and thanks for stopping by!
We’re Emily and Hamish, a husband-and-wife team and your hosts during your stay at Honnington Farm.

We’ve been welcoming guests to our glamping pods since August 2020. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we were given the opportunity to manage a small glamping site on Hamish’s family farm. With little experience but plenty of enthusiasm (and not much to lose!), we took a leap of faith and dived headfirst into the world of glamping.
Our early years were shaped by lockdowns and ever-changing government restrictions, but despite the challenges, we created what we believe is a truly special place to stay. We were also lucky enough to welcome far more guests than we ever expected — a humbling and motivating experience that confirmed we were on the right path.

Over the past five years, we’ve learned a huge amount, and our roles continue to evolve as we balance the needs of the business with our personal ventures and family life. Today, Emily will be your main point of contact — organising your booking, answering any questions in the lead-up to your stay, and sharing local recommendations. She’ll also prepare your pod for arrival, meet you at the farm entrance for check-in, and be on hand during your stay should you need anything at all.

In recent months, Hamish has taken a step back from the day-to-day running of the site and now works as a tractor driver at a local apple farm. You may still spot him during the summer months helping out with lawn mowing — and he’s always on hand if you need a bit of expert assistance getting your chiminea fire going!

Please enjoy having a browse through our website, and if you have any questions or would like to make a booking enquiry, feel free to get in touch using the online contact form. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.

We hope to welcome you soon!
